“The instant of birth is exquisite. Pain and joy are one at this moment. Ever after, the dim recollection is so sweet that we speak to our children with a gratitude they never understand.”
It’s a pleasure to meet you.
My primary focus throughout my social work and business careers has always been predicated on serving others. With this in mind, I’ve supported countless women, mothers, children, and families working in the mental health, substance abuse, non-profit, and education fields.
My decision to become a doula later in my career stems from my firm commitment to service. I believe in the extraordinary magic of support — and its transformative effects. Birthing is perhaps the most sacred and humbling life experience, one that deserves the utmost attention and care.
As a lifelong athlete and former college basketball player, I will be your champion and teammate, helping you harness and utilize your strength and confidence. I will offer grounding and stability during this life-changing transition into motherhood, ensuring that you feel empowered and enabled to make the best possible decisions for you and your family.
After spending many decades in New York, I now live on the South Shore with my husband and two daughters, two goats, two rabbits, and a beautiful tuxedo cat named Henry.
When we partner together, prepare to also share some laughs along the way! It’s a privilege to be chosen as part of your birth team — and with that, I greatly appreciate the opportunity to be on your journey with you.
